We’re excited to share that Shearwater Capital has invested in Contented, a New Zealand-based AI company transforming how businesses turn conversations into formal documents. Founded by Lucy Pink and Hannah Hardy-Jones, Contented converts recorded meetings into structured outputs such as meeting minutes, compliance records and client communications, helping organisations close what the founders call the “capture gap” between discussion and documentation.

Contented has grown significantly since launch, building strong traction across SMEs and enterprise customers, particularly in industries with high documentation requirements. The company has achieved this growth with a lean team and minimal external capital.

A key differentiator is Contented’s proprietary library of structured templates, developed in-house in collaboration with industry experts. Rather than providing generic summaries, the platform produces ready-to-use documents tailored to specific regulatory and workflow requirements. This vertical depth positions Contented differently from horizontal AI notetakers and productivity tools.

Our investment forms part of a Seed round led by Altered Capital. We are backing Lucy and Hannah at an important stage in their journey as they scale product, team and distribution. We believe Contented is building practical AI infrastructure for everyday business workflows, and we look forward to supporting the company as it continues to grow.
